Sometimes you find the strangest things in your cupboards...
I was sorting out my cupboard and opened the bag where I keep my 5x4 camera - and I still had some dark slides loaded with film. So, use them I must.... I didn't go far, just a mile up the road to Craigandoran to shoot three sheets, then near Rosneath to shoot one more sheet then over to Arrochar to shoot the last sheet.
I had sold all my darkroom equipment, so after mixing up some developer and fixer - in the dead of night I developed the sheets of film in a small tupperware box which I normally use to store tea-bags, and then fixed the sheets using a bowl that I had filled with fixer. A bit Heath-robinson - but it worked. Then I hung the negs to dry in my utility with some string and clothes pegs...
