At the top of the town there are two lakes. One is the water supply for the town and the other was once a shallow lake for skating in winter. Now its mostly overgrown and a paradise for the local wildlife. I was passing and noticed the colour in the sky. I parked nearby and managed to catch the last rays of the sunshine as it dipped below the horizon.
A soft, golden glow spills across the sky,
As the daylight starts to surrender and die.
The sun bows low with a fiery grace,
Painting soft colours in twilight's embrace.
