Bosnia and Montenegro

Mostar, Sarajevo & Tivat

Arriving at Split in Croatia, I decided to carry on into Bosnia - heading for Mostar. The last time I was here the bridge had gone, but it had been rebuilt perfectly. Its a nice and quiet town, and a perfect place to explore the countryside.
After Mostar I headed over to Sarajevo, finding a campsite to the north not far away from where the old old winter-olympics ski runs. Sarajevo itself is a busy old place with lots of tourists. There wasn't much in the way of museums, so I only spent an afternoon wandering around the city. I spent more time riding around the local area with some wonderful scenery.
After Bosnia I headed into Montenegro, heading down to Tivat. Its a beautiful location with a beautifully original old town. The city is right next to the sea, and somehow the sea is a deep shade of blue. Its  beautiful place to visit and riding around the local area, the scenery is stunning.  About 30 minutes away from Tivat I found an old submarine base from the days of Yugoslavia, which was really interesting.
