Lake Trasimeno in Umbria

Travelling down to Umbria, I stayed at a campsite next to Lago Trasimeno, which is a huge lake in the middle of Italy. It's also central to all the things I wanted to see. While there I rode around the lake, visiting the towns of Castiglione de Lago and Chiusi. I also spent a day at Sienna and another day at Perugia. Sienna, as you can imagine was very busy, but if you wander away from the main square (circle...?) then you can also find lots of wonderful things to see. Perugia also has its own charm, and is a beautiful place to visit.
My next part of the journey is Croatia, so I will be catching a ferry from Ancona, but before I got to Ancona I stopped at Assisi. It was very busy with coast tours, so you need to get there early. A great undergroud car park, though.
