Helensburgh Pier

Just outside the town is Helensburgh Coal Pier. Before the railway came to town the pier was a busy place, bringing people, coal and anything else you needed for an expanding town. After the railway arrived the pier became less important to the town and eventually fell into disuse. It still stands, but is disappearing fast.
